MEET JOHN HOLDER: Former Master Commissioner, Kentucky’s first online notary, author of Kentucky Notary Law & Practice, and the Market President who’s closed deals from Spain to the Netherlands.
John Holder brings over 30 years of real estate expertise to Eastern Kentucky title work. As former Master Commissioner and Kentucky’s pioneering online notary, John joined Eastern KY Title in November 2025 to help Lindon Gullett bring mobile, client-focused closings to a region tired of corporate title companies.
From international transactions spanning continents to complex Eastern Kentucky property issues, John has handled it all. That experience matters when you need someone who won’t let your deal fall apart at the finish line.

Three decades of real estate experience means John has closed every type of transaction—from vacant lots in Martin County to international closings in Seoul and Dubai.
As Kentucky’s first online notary, John pioneered digital closing solutions before they were mainstream. As former Master Commissioner, he oversaw court-ordered property sales where timing, accuracy, and attention to detail weren’t optional—they were mandatory.
That judicial background gives John a unique perspective on title work: he knows what can derail a closing, how to prevent it, and how to fix it fast when problems surface.

Kentucky’s first online notary brought digital closing technology to Eastern Kentucky before anyone else saw its potential. But innovation without local knowledge is useless—John combines cutting-edge solutions with deep understanding of regional property challenges.
Court-supervised sales taught John that details decide outcomes. A missing signature, an unclear legal description, or an overlooked title defect can derail a closing. John catches these issues early—before they cost you time, money, or the deal itself. As John says: this isn’t just where we work. It’s home.
John Holder’s three decades of experience—from international closings to Eastern Kentucky property quirks—mean your deal gets handled by someone who’s actually seen it all.
Kitchen table, front porch, or job site—John meets you where it’s convenient because office visits shouldn’t be required for your closing.

You’re getting someone who knows what can go wrong, how to prevent it, and how to fix it if it surfaces.
